Project Coordinator

Part Time – Temporary

ARCH Disability Law Centre is a specialty legal clinic dedicated to defending and advancing the equality rights of persons with disabilities across Ontario.

ARCH has received funding to launch an exciting program advancing the capacity of persons with disabilities across Canada to meaningfully engage with the Optional Protocol to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.  The project will develop and deliver training modules to advocates and lawyers. The Project Coordinator will be expected to fulfill the duties necessary to ensure the completion of the project including: working with the project team and project lead, project management, communication with stakeholders, assistance with development of materials, securing a broad range of disability-related accommodations, assistance with project evaluation, project promotion, and may also include some technological support.  

Required Qualifications

  • Project management experience;
  • Experience working with disability rights communities in Canada; and
  • Demonstrated commitment to ARCH’s mandate;


Fluency in French; fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or langue des signes québécoise (LSQ). Knowledge of disability organizations and community resources, and personal experience with or knowledge of disability issues and/or low-income and culturally diverse communities.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. Length of contract to be negotiated.
