Read ARCH’s Discussion Paper on the Federal Accessibility Legislation: Feb 8, 2017

In 2016, the Government of Canada announced its intention to develop and introduce federal accessibility legislation. ARCH is engaged in the Government’s process of consulting with Canadians as part of its development of the new accessibility legislation. This paper discusses the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and its relationship with the proposed federal accessibility legislation.
