Submission to the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario on Tribunal’s Draft Policy on Accessibility and Accommodation
The Human Rights Tribunal’s Policy on Accessibility and Accommodation outlines the steps the Tribunal will take to make its services accessible to the public and explains how people can make requests for accommodations. ARCH made a submission to the Tribunal on the draft version of the policy. ARCH emphasized the need for the policy to be written in plain language. ARCH recommended making the policy more inclusive by providing many more examples of the kinds of accommodation people could request at all stages of the Tribunal’s process and accommodations relating to a variety of disabilities.
