Donation in honour of Lorin MacDonald
On October 20, 2022, Lorin MacDonald was inducted into the Canadian Disability Hall of Fame. ARCH Board and Staff were thrilled to learn of this well deserved recognition. Lorin continues to be a strong advocate for our communities, and we are grateful for her service as a former Director on ARCH’s Board of Directors.
The Canadian Disability Hall of Fame is a project of the Canadian Foundation for Physically Disabled Persons that celebrates the achievements of people who have made this country a better place for people with disabilities.
As part of the award, a charity receives a donation in the name of the award winner. Lorin chose ARCH Disability Law Centre’s Teresa Daw Legacy Fund as the recipient of this donation in the amount of $1000.00. We sincerely thank Lorin for choosing ARCH and congratulate her on receiving this very prestigious award.
While ARCH receives grants from various funders to run our day to day operations, donating to ARCH helps us to run and expand programs that are not part of our core services. These include our Respecting Rights Program and our Teresa Daw Fellowship.
Any amount is welcome and we will promptly provide you with a charitable donation receipt. If you are able to assist please donate to ARCH through:
