On the bottom right part of the page, various overlay of colours for the background with images of an eagle, whale, and black and white images of people drumming, playing an instrument and an elder looking down, in his traditional clothing.

Today, on June 21, 2022, in solidarity with Indigenous Peoples across Canada, ARCH Disability Law Centre celebrates National Indigenous Peoples Day. ARCH staff have and are currently participating in various workshops, training, events, and ceremonies to celebrate the heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit cultures.

ARCH is fully committed to continuing the building of relationships and working with Indigenous communities on the journey to Reconciliation. This year, we can fully embrace in-person gatherings and participate more authentically in marking the summer solstice.

ARCH respectfully acknowledges that its office is located on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples.
