ARCH Disability Law Centre interviewed on Bill 7 on “Now with Dave Brown”

The day after the Ontario government passed Bill 7, the More Beds Better Care Act on August 31, ARCH Disability Law Centre was interviewed by Meagan Gillmore, who spoke with Dave Brown about its impacts. The Act amends the Fixing Long Term Care Act 2021 and was passed without any public consultation. The amendments remove the requirement to obtain consent to be admitted to a long-term care home when a person is designated as requiring an alternative level of care in a hospital.
